LET’S GROW GREENER TOGETHER!
Join us during Winchester Green Week for an exciting drama workshop for primary-aged children, inspired by the beautiful story Leave the Trees, Please by Benjamin Zephaniah.
Through drama, creative writing, and craft, children will follow one little boy’s friendship with a tree, discovering how nature can help us feel calm, happy, and connected. Together, we’ll bring the story to life, write our own love letters to nature, and grow a shared Creativi-Tree full of ideas for a greener future.
With a powerful message about deforestation and caring for our planet, this fun and uplifting workshop will spark imaginations and inspire everyone to remember - Leave the Trees, Please!

Step into the world of cyanotype - a historic photographic printing process known for its striking blue tones - in this relaxed, hands-on workshop led by photographer and artist Simon Bray.
Over the course of the morning, you’ll explore how to make your own unique prints using natural objects, layering techniques, and sunlight (or UV light should the October weather not play it's part!). No experience is needed and all materials are provided - just bring your curiosity. By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your own collection of blueprints, each one completely personal and one-of-a-kind.
To keep you fuelled and inspired, delicious coffee will be supplied by South Down Social and homemade cake by Jess’ Kitchen Hampshire.
