Our 2026/2027 production will be announced in June 2026.

Children in Academic Years R-3 take part in DNYT Peanuts, where they focus on musical theatre. This groups provides a fantastic introduction to the wonderful world of musicals!

DNYT Peanuts is all about having fun whilst giving young people the opportunity to be themselves; expressing their creativity in a safe, friendly, and supportive environment. As well as taking their first steps on stage, and building foundations in singing, dancing and acting, our younger companies also learn important skills in communication, commitment and working together as they make new friends and put on a fantastic show at the end of the year.

DNYT Peanuts members take part in weekly rehearsals, culminating in an annual production in the summer, performing in front of their parents/carers and invited audience members.

Our membership fee includes:

• Weekly rehearsals during term time

• Annual performance of a musical

• All production related materials

• Membership bag and t-shirt

• Discounts to productions at our venue

Discarded Nut Youth Theatre strives to be accessible for all young people. As such, we have a ‘no questions asked’ Bursary Scheme available. Just select the relevant box when filling out the application form below.
