DNYT Performance is a fantastic company for young people who love being part of DNYT for the fun, friendship, creativity, and confidence it brings.

This is a welcoming, uplifting, and energising space for young people who love performing and creativity, whether they are already passionate about the stage or are still building confidence in themselves and their abilities. Through fun, engaging, and inspiring workshops led by professional actors, singers, and dancers, members will explore acting, movement, voice, improvisation, and performance skills in a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to take creative risks, express themselves, and grow both on-stage and off.

Throughout the year, members will work together towards an exciting end-of-year showcase in July featuring a vibrant mix of ensemble performances, scenes, monologues, solos, and duets, many of which will be chosen, developed, and curated by the group themselves, giving every young person the chance to shine in a way that feels authentic, rewarding, and empowering. 

This pathway is ideal for young people who:

• Love performing in a fun and encouraging environment

• Want to build confidence in both performance and communication skills

• Enjoy being part of a creative community

• Want to balance theatre alongside Duke of Edinburgh, school productions, sport, or other commitments 

• Do not want to audition for a place in DNYT

Our membership fee includes:

• Weekly rehearsals and workshops during term time

• Annual showcase

• All production related materials

• Membership bag and t-shirt

• Discounts to productions at our venue
