Our 2026/2027 production will be announced in June 2026.
As young people grow, we want to provide them with creative experiences and activities that challenge their thinking and artistic understanding. For those in Academic Years 4-8 we offer weekly youth theatre rehearsals in acting and musical theatre, providing a fun, exciting and unique theatrical experience.
Members in DNYT Coconuts - Acting, spend the year learning about theatre through improvisation and games, whilst simultaneously rehearsing for their annual production that is performed in the summer. This is all done in a fun, friendly and supportive environment, with each member nurtured and encouraged to grow both as performers and as individuals.
DNYT Coconuts - Acting members take part in weekly rehearsals, culminating in an annual production in the summer, performing in front of their parents/carers and invited audience members.
Our membership fee includes:
Weekly rehearsals during term time
Annual performance of a musical
All production related materials
Membership bag and t-shirt
Discounts to productions at our venue
Discarded Nut Youth Theatre strives to be accessible for all young people. As such, we have a ‘no questions asked’ Bursary Scheme available. Just select the relevant box when filling out the application form below.

Wednesdays: 5-7pm
MEMBERSHIP FEE
£170 per term | £510 per year
Payments can be paid in full for the whole year, or you can select a monthly payment plan option. All payments will be set up through GoCardless and invoiced via Xero.
DISCOUNTS
Sibling Discount: 5%
Bursary Scheme: 50% or 100% available
We offer a ‘no questions asked’ bursary scheme for those who need it most.

Staff have up-to-date Enhanced DBS checks and at least one staff member is First Aid trained.
Bursaries available. Membership fee includes: all levies and production costs.
