Auditions TAKE PLACE AT OUR YOUNG COMPANY WORKSHOP DAY ON FRIDAY 24TH JULY.
DNYT Young Company: Musicals is designed for dedicated young performers who are considering drama school or wishing to further develop their existing creative theatre training. The company offers a pre-professional, Young Company-style environment, supporting members to up-skill and refine the unique performance, discipline, and versatility needed to excel in the musical theatre and wider performance industry.
DNYT Young Company: Musicals members are talented, inclusive young people with a serious passion for musicals and live theatre. They are committed ensemble players who are actively developing the technique, discipline, and creative confidence required for progression into higher-level training and the professional industry, all within a supportive, safe, and inspiring environment.
DNYT Young Company: Musicals members take part in weekly rehearsals, culminating in an annual production in the summer, performing in front of their parents/carers and audience members.
Our membership fee includes:
Weekly rehearsals during term time
Annual performance of a musical
All production related materials
Membership bag and t-shirt
Discounts to productions at our venue
Discarded Nut Youth Theatre strives to be accessible for all young people. As such, we have a ‘no questions asked’ Bursary Scheme available. Just select the relevant box when filling out the application form below.

MEMBERSHIP FEE
£190 per term | £570 per year
Payments can be paid in full for the whole year, or you can select a monthly payment plan option. All payments will be set up through GoCardless and invoiced via Xero.

Sibling Discount: 5%
Bursary Scheme: 50% or 100% available
We offer a ‘no questions asked’ bursary scheme for those who need it most.

Staff have up-to-date Enhanced DBS checks and at least one staff member is First Aid trained.
Bursaries available. Membership fee includes: all levies and production costs.
